Course Overview
The course intends to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to become successful Responsible Individuals. This full day course is designed for both experienced managers new to the role of the Responsible Individual and less experienced people who are interested in what the role entails and how they can eventually become the Responsible Individual in their workplace.
The role is very definite in terms of the needs and wishes of regulators and commissioners even though the regulations lack direction which means that the individual must be very confident in their abilities and pioneering in their vision for the service.
Included in the course is the roles and responsibilities of the RI, what the expectations are both from the organisation and legislation, what is needed to become an RI, what governing bodies look for in an RI and what support an RI is needed to provide the organisation with.
