Course Overview

This is a half day classroom-based training session for people working with challenging behaviour and how this presents itself. This course aims to support learners to understand the challenges and how to respond to challenging behaviour. Learners will be supported to analyse different types of behaviour and also to look at strategies and interventions that can safely manage this behaviour. The course will also introduce behaviour and incident reporting tools and will provide risk management control measures to ensure that the learner is confident in all aspects of managing challenging behaviour. The course features a range of group work, activities and discussions to enhance learner skill development. This training session can be accessed via a link and is accessible from a range of devices including IOS and Android platforms.

 

This course offers a blended learning approach including a short scenario, a workbook, infographics and a classroom style training session.
