Course Overview
This is a half day classroom-based training session for people working with children and vulnerable adults and provides progression from our Reporting and Recording Foundation Level Online course. Learners will be supported to understand the importance of their role in the completion of accurate record keeping and report writing. The course will explore the negatives and dangerous effects of inadequate reporting and recording. The course features a range of group work, activities including role play and discussions to enhance learner skill development. This training session can be accessed via a link and is accessible from a range of devices including IOS and Android platforms.
This course offers a blended learning approach including a short scenario, a workbook, infographics and a classroom style training session.
Aims & Objectives
- To raise awareness of the importance of accurate record keeping and report writing.
- To understand the reasons for report writing
- Identify what needs to be included in the report.
- Recognise the difference between fact, opinion, judgement and hearsay.
