Course Overview

The course provides advice and strategies to enable learners to consider the skills and attributes associated with being a Team Leader. It gives advise on how to guide a team effectively and promotes essential values following industry standards. This course will benefit staff who have aspirations to develop into Management positions and will provide good skill based training to support them on this pathway. We also offer a Team Leading Level 2 Award which would complement this course. This training session can be accessed via a link and is accessible from a range of devices including IOS and Android platforms.

This course offers a blended learning approach including a short scenario, a workbook, infographics and a classroom style training session.

• Describe what a Team Leader should be and outline the importance of building relationships
• Evaluate effective communication methods
• Discuss Motivational tools
• Define Leadership Styles and discuss delegation and time management.
