Course Overview

This course raises awareness of the nature and impact of bullying and provides information that the learner can use to help them respond appropriately should they need to deal with a bullying incident in the home. It also highlights their important role in prevention. This e-learning session can be accessed via a variety of electronic devices. The programme benefits from narrative scenarios and activities with ongoing assessment making it engaging and interactive.

  • Recognise the nature of bullying
  • Describe the consequences and impact of bullying
  • Recognise the signs and symptoms
  • Explain how to manage an incident
  • Reduce the incidents of bullying in the home
  • Support both victim and perpetrators

 

Following completion of the course participants will know how to take appropriate action to prevent children bullying including how to educate children and young people about bullying and implement an anti-bullying ethos in the home.

Adult Health Care Workers, Social Care Workers, Nursing staff, Adult Day Care/Centre workers, Home Care Staff, Agency staff.

Course Duration

This course will take a minimum of 45 minutes to complete.
